Upon its opening in 1996, the Queen & Crescent Building was not only New Orleans' newest Skyscraper, but at twelve stories, it was also the tallest. After a series of owner and name changes, the Queen & Crescent Building was purchased by a group of New Orleans investors who spent over $12 million converting the historic building into a 196 room European style boutique hotel.
